Digital ID numbers are being assigned to toddlers for life as work to integrate the databases of the Births and Deaths Registry in the National Identification Authority (NIA) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS)is completed. 

The roll out of control technology and pharma testing always seems to start in Africa. It’s the proving ground. Is it easy to sway the population promising it’s “for their safety”.

A trial to issue the ID numbers to some newborns was done on July 21,  that the test run was successful. Rwanda is right behind them..
